I'd never thought about the scrap quilt comment and not buying more fabric. The smaller Xs is a great idea. How about "Kisses" for a name? The X is a symbol for a kiss; you know OOXX as in hugs and kisses.kwiltnkatshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14151334139749434757noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3753705551115638647.post-19049100475318533942010-10-25T13:10:07.484-04:002010-10-25T13:10:07.484-04:00what about smaller x's made from light/backgro...what about smaller x's made from light/background fabrics and use darker scraps as the backgroundAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14074629590337906330noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3753705551115638647.post-42921573179430154762010-10-25T11:41:17.227-04:002010-10-25T11:41:17.227-04:00The fun thing about scrap quilts is that it is OK ...The fun thing about scrap quilts is that it is OK to use what you have on hand. I just got to the same point with a postage stamp quilt I'm making, and someone commented that it would be moving in the wrong direction to buy more fabric for a quilt that is supposed to use up fabric. I hasn't thought of it that way, but it made sense to me. Running out can force us to be creative and explore new design options.scraphappyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01472985095648633397noreply@blogger.com
