With all the wind we have in OK, the flag is often flying at some angle. My husband (before he died) and I took a class at our local community college in photography. He was so ill that we neither one got much out of the class. However, I did ask the instructor about taking a picture and never quite understood what she told me that I needed to do to take a picture. I'd love to have a picture of it. I think it is one of the most inspiring symbols we have in this country. I have the flag that was on my dad's casket. He was a lt. col. in the Army. He was very humble and most people probably didn't even know that he had been in the service.

The fabric you chose for the beginner quilt is gorgeous. In the pictures, it so luscious that it almost looks like flannel. Your students are going to be thrilled with their projects. It sure helps to have someone help you get off to a great start.Suzehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05825257012315494167noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3753705551115638647.post-50103417220727904312016-10-24T12:37:01.671-04:002016-10-24T12:37:01.671-04:00Wow -- I love your wave quilt -- it just seems so ...Wow -- I love your wave quilt -- it just seems so appropriate. And the new one you started is going to be gorgeous. Was the pattern more like a post card? I have one that looks similar but I haven't thought about making it yet. Last thought -- I love your statement that your turning your siblings into quilters. Fun blog today. Bonniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04758275644964547751noreply@blogger.com
