Well, I missed ANOTHER stash report. Now I have to combine 3 weeks in my next report! I've been keeping track, so at least it will be correct. I just had to play catch-up yesterday after having been gone since Tuesday.
That catch-up did include gathering up a couple of projects for the design wall today, including a Texture Magic Tote Bag that I did not complete while I was at the School of Threadology at Superior Threads in St. George, Utah. Here's the bag. I still have to finish the casing and add the drawstrings.
Below is the beginnings of another Twister quilt. These are so quick and easy to make and I am seriously low on having baby quilts on hand. I picked up the fabric for this while I was in Utah. On Thursday night a group of us went to Quilted Works, a great shop in St. George that stayed open late just for us. They had bags of "end of bolt specials" and I just couldn't resist. I think these fabrics will make a great baby quilt! There is enough of the blue and green fabric left over to add some fun borders to this little quilt.
Check out what others have on their design walls by going to Judy L.'s Patchwork Times blog.

Love that bag black/pink so chic and the flower is fab!
ReplyDeleteLove the bag. I think I may have to try the Texture Magic: it looks great.
ReplyDeleteI love the blue and green together. How can you go wrong with paisleys. They are cute in so many designs.
