Design Wall Monday

I have been busy!

While finishing the QOV projects for Friday's presentation, I packed up a bunch of kits so I'd have them ready at the spur of the moment.

I started working on one of those kits and because it was so easy, I finished the top last night.

I've got backing fabric ready for this as well as the binding. WooHoo! I think I'll go ahead and get it quilted and bound right away so I have QOVs ready as soon as they are needed.

I worked on this in between grading essays today. Trust me, I needed the break.  :-)

I've got to get busy thinking about upcoming classes. Any ideas? What new and exciting patterns have you seen lately that would make a great class?

Check out what other quilters have on their design walls today.

  1. Another wonderful quilt - looks like it is a fast pattern. I haven't been looking at any new patterns as I have to finish up what is piling up. You are welcome to use the Twin Sisters block on my tutorial tab.

  2. What a neat quilt for QOV. Kudos to you for such a fast finish. I need to get going on the 3 tops that I've finished and get them to the binding stage soon. The block that I'm doing for the QOV block Drive is very easy and addictive. You can check it out on my blog under QOV Block Drive. I have set it in 3 different layout so far.

  3. It's fun to start and finish a quilt in a short time. And, what's better than making a quilt for such a good cause. I'm "trying" not to start a new quilt but I'm guessing I will fairly soon... I just get tired of all the UFOs I've got hanging around although I have done pretty well finishing some this year.

  4. Beautiful, as always! What about teaching a fold and stitch wreath class?
