Revisiting Some Old Favorites

I was looking through some quilt pictures earlier today and found some old favorites. They make me smile.

I made this one for the 2017 Modern Quilt Guild Fabric Challenge. Here's a link to my post about it. 

I liked this quilt and picture so much that I made it the background on my computer.  :-)

This quilt was made for a Christmas in July Blog Hop and Quilt Along hosted by Sarah over at Confessions of a Fabric Addict. Here's the link to my post. 

And this wall hanging was made for the American Honor Contest, hosted by Blank Quilting Corporations. I was thrilled to win second place. Check out more info about that HERE.  

These are just three of my favorites. There are so many more, and I could seriously spend hours just looking at quilt pictures. Since I have work to do, I guess it was a good thing that I found what I was looking for pretty quickly.

Memorial Day Quilts

In honor of Memorial Day and those who gave their lives for our freedom, I am reposting the quilts I made for the American Honor Challenge last year.  

(I will post some Design Wall Monday pictures later.) 

In Your Debt

There is no way for us to repay you for all you did and the sacrifices you made.

Thank you seems such a shallow thing to say, but since there are no other words, 

Thank you and know that I am forever in your debt.

  

Heart and Soul

You are the heart and soul of our nation. 

I will hold you in my heart forever and never forget your sacrifice.

Freedom Rings

Because of you, I have freedoms that are not enjoyed my many others. I know that freedom is not free and that you paid the ultimate price to ensure that freedom does ring for me.

Freedom Rings is a Finalist!

The finalists have been announced and Freedom Rings was chosen as one of the top ten finalist for the American Honor Challenge by Blank Quilting! Yippee!

It's packed up and on it's way for the final voting.

The winner of the American Honor Popular Vote is Paul Fortenberry, who has only been quilting for a year and a half. WOW! Congratulations Paul and all the other finalists.
